Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll deliver expert roadside repairs, diagnostics, and breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing each day from home while helping members get back on the road quickly.

Your role blends technical diagnostics with outstanding customer service, across diverse roadside calls. You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit to support the job.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• A customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making an impact on the roadside.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most.
• Equipment provided: RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
