Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside across the UK, delivering quick and confident solutions to members in need. You’ll be part of local clusters and start and end your day at home, with comprehensive support and equipment provided.

As a Roadside Technician, you’ll use your technical expertise to handle a variety of faults, while delivering outstanding member service. A dedicated RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform are supplied from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home while tackling roadside challenges.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
