Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You will perform roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and ending your day at home while serving RAC members with confidence and care.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit, with home-based starts and a focus on quick, reliable service. A Level 2 vehicle maintenance qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach is required.
• Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
• Start and end each day at home, travelling to locations as needed.
