Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members across the UK. You’ll start and finish at home, with your own RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided.

We require a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years as a technician. A full UK licence with under 6 points is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work from home start and finish with RAC van and equipment provided.
