Job summary

RAC Motoring Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostic work and emergency breakdown support across the UK, using your Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years' experience.

You will start your day at home with an RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and essential tools provided; shifts average 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members on roadside calls.
