Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair roadside faults, deliver quick, confident solutions, and support members across the UK. You will work independently, use the latest diagnostic tools, and provide excellent customer service to get drivers back on the road efficiently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roadside faults quickly using diagnostic tools.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Use diagnostic technology to identify faults and get members back on the road swiftly.
• Work independently with strong customer service to reassure members.
