RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs, and provide rapid emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work independently, combining technical expertise with strong customer service, helping members stay safe and back on the road quickly.

The role offers a structured development programme, accreditation through IMI, and a strong benefits package as part of RAC’s commitment to its colleagues.

Competenze

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Mansioni

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults quickly and reassure members on the move.
• Work independently to identify faults and advise members.
