Job summary

RAC in the UK is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the country. You’ll start and finish from home, using your RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit, with comprehensive uniforms and tools provided.

Eligible candidates have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience, plus a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• Roadside Technician with a Level 2 qualification and 2 years' experience
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK
• Provide emergency breakdown support and reassurance to RAC members
• Start and finish each call from the trainee's home driveway and operate a RAC van
