Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, using your RAC van and diagnostic tools. You’ll start and finish at home, tackling calls with confidence and delivering outstanding member service.

The role offers a market-competitive base salary and an achievable OTE, with overtime and bonuses available for top performers. You’ll work demand-led shifts averaging ~40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and quick, confident solutions.
• Start and finish days from home, using your RAC van and diagnostic kit.
