Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from home. You’ll be supported with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and a diagnostic kit.

With a base salary of £41,600 and an OTE of £66,000, this role offers a demanding but rewarding workload with demand-led shifts and optional overtime, in a long-standing, trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years’ post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• Customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and end your day at home, with RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most
