Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, supported by your RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish the day at home, with RAC van, fuel card, and tools supplied.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members at their time of need.
