Job summary
Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from home and using your RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided.
The role offers a market-competitive base salary and a strong OTE potential with overtime opportunities. We welcome qualified technicians with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, plus 2+ years' experience (or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician).
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
- Alternative: 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on.
- Utilise RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided to complete calls.
