Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Cheltenham cluster, covering surrounding area with home start/finish. You will diagnose and repair on the roadside, support members, and work around 40 hours per week with flexible overtime and shift patterns.

The role requires LV maintenance Level 2 (or equivalent) and 2+ years' experience, plus a full UK driving licence. RAC provides van, tools, fuel card, and uniform to start.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) qualification.
• At least 2 years' experience in a roadside or vehicle maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and diagnostics to members.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Use provided tools, diagnostic kit, and vehicle to complete fixes on site.
