Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician with Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience to diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish at home, work around 40 hours per week with optional overtime, and operate in the Warrington cluster serving nearby towns.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (alternative path)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Your day starts and ends at home, with local area focus and 40-hour weeks on average.
