Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Plymouth area to diagnose a range of faults and deliver rapid roadside repairs. You’ll start and finish from home, travel within your local cluster, and help members get back on the road quickly.

With a Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, you’ll join a trusted brand offering a highly supportive team, home-based start, and comprehensive tools and resources.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence.
• Ability to diagnose and repair roadside faults under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Begin and end each day at home with RAC van and toolkit.
