Job summary
Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You will operate across the Exeter cluster and surrounding areas, starting and finishing at home with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience, you’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and support members in urgent situations. A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points is required.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Start and finish your day at home and provide quick, confident solutions for members.
- Use the RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided to you.
