Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide confident solutions and help members get back on the road quickly.

Join a structured development programme with hands-on learning, accreditation via IMI and a strong base pay with realistic OTE. You’ll perform under demand-led shifts with overtime opportunities and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support and quick, confident solutions.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and help members continue their journeys safely.

Skills

5+ years experience as Vehicle Tech/Me

Full UK driving licence (<6 points)

Education
