RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform quick fixes on scene and help members continue their journeys safely.

You’ll work independently, using the latest diagnostic tools, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and opportunities for overtime. A structured development pathway includes IMI accreditation.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or: 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Diagnose faults on scene to help members continue their journeys safely.
• Use latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and resolve issues quickly.
