Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician based in the Warrington area. You will use a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience to carry out rapid roadside repairs, diagnostics and breakdown support across the UK.

You’ll start and finish your day at home, work ~40 hours per week with demand-led shifts, and receive a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £60,000. RAC provides a van, tools, fuel card and full uniform.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Offer emergency breakdown support nationwide.
• Start and finish each day at home, focusing on the local area.
