Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Warrington cluster and cover surrounding areas. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support, working with your own RAC van and diagnostic kit.

Start and finish at home, with shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime. Candidates need a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a technician, plus a full UK driving

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish at home and get members back on the road in your local area.
