Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join its Patrol division across the Warrington cluster and wider UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and provide breakdown support, starting and finishing at home while serving members locally.

You will receive a robust base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE around £60,000+ and enhanced overtime; cycling shifts average ~40 hours weekly with optional overtime. RAC provides tools and van from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
