RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician for the Stockport area. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK to help members return to the road quickly.

You start and finish at home, with an RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit provided. The role offers a competitive base salary of £42,921.87 plus an OTE up to £60k and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair.
• Provide vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home while working in your local area.
• Offer quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
