Job summary

RAC is looking for a Roadside Technician to keep the UK moving. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience, you’ll work across the Warrington cluster, starting and finishing each day from your driveway, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours a week.

You’ll deliver expert roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and finish daily at home, with local travel to assist members

Education

NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance

2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
