Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK. You will work from home at the start and finish of each shift, travel in a provided RAC van, and support members with rapid, reliable service.

The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience and a full UK driving licence. Overtime and bonuses boost earnings in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at the roadside to restore mobility.
• Support members with calm, confident service while on call.
