Job summary

RAC is seeking a roadside technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform emergency repairs, and support members on the road, delivering quick, confident solutions while upholding RAC service standards.

You’ll start and end your day from home, receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit, and enjoy a market-leading base salary plus realistic OTE. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside.
