Job summary

RAC is looking for a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You’ll perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing each day from your home. You’ll be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and a diagnostic kit.

You will be expected to use your Level 2 maintenance qualifications and 2+ years of post-qualification experience, while maintaining top-tier member service and safety on every call.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Handle faults ranging from flat batteries to complex diagnostics
• Start and finish daily at home while serving members on the road
