Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to cover the Cheltenham cluster, serving local members with roadside repairs, diagnostics and breakdown support. You’ll start and finish from home, with a RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided, and you’ll work up to 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

You’ll need Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience (or 5+ years as a Technician) and a clean UK license.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Offer quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members
