Job summary

Join RAC as a Roadside Technician in the Warrington cluster area, covering Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton-le-Willows and surrounding towns. You’ll operate with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience, delivering rapid roadside repairs and diagnostics.

Based in the UK, you’ll start and finish each day from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and a diagnostic kit provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform quick, confident repairs on scene.
• Start and finish days at home and work locally to get members back on the road.
