Job summary

RAC requires a Roadside Technician to join our Warrington cluster, covering local areas. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to get members back on the road quickly.

You’ll start and finish from home, work demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime. RAC provides you with a dedicated van, fuel card, tools, and full uniform from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home; demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week with optional overtime
