Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to service members across the Warrington cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll fix faults, diagnose breakdowns and perform repairs at the roadside with a focus on rapid, trustworthy service.

Starting from home, you’ll travel to call-outs in your local area, supported by a RAC van, fuel card and full diagnostic kit. A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at the roadside.
• Start and finish days from home, with locality-focused servicing.
