Job summary
Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and become part of a team delivering rapid, expert roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience, you’ll operate from home, serving a Warrington cluster and surrounding areas, with a van, fuel card, and full kit provided.
Expect a market-competitive base salary (£36,400) and a realistic OTE around £60,000, with bonuses and overtime opportunities for top
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Responsibilities
- Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
- Start and finish each day at home while visiting local areas to get members back on the road
- Utilise tools, diagnostic kit and support provided to deliver quick, confident solutions for customers
