Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and finish from your home address, operating within your local Warrington cluster and surrounding areas, with a provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and essential tools.

Candidates should have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end days from home, with local-area deployments.
• Operate RAC van with diagnostic kit and tools provided to complete calls.
