RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs on member vehicles across the UK. You will deliver prompt, confident repairs and top‑quality breakdown support with an emphasis on safety and customer care.

The role offers a structured development pathway toward IMI accreditation, a base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000. Demand-led shifts provide about 40 hours weekly with overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Use latest diagnostic technology to identify faults and restore journeys safely.
• Work independently to troubleshoot issues and deliver high-quality customer service.
