RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair faults across the UK, delivering rapid, confident support to members at the roadside. You’ll combine mechanical skill with outstanding customer service to ensure members continue their journeys safely.

The role offers structured development, with access to IMI accreditation and ongoing training. The position includes a strong base pay of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000, plus overtime and bonuses, and opportunities to share in

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points is required.
• 2+ years’ experience in light vehicle maintenance or as a vehicle technician.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic is acceptable.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and accreditation via IMI.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair roadside faults quickly and confidently to get members back on the road.
• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and communicate findings clearly.
• Utilise diagnostic technology to identify faults and provide reassurance to members.
