Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults and perform rapid roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll work independently, ensure customer reassurance, and use the latest diagnostic tools to keep members moving.

The role offers a structured development pathway, accreditation opportunities, and a strong benefits package, including market pay with OTE potential and UK-wide support.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and use diagnostic technology to get members back on the road.
