Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair on the roadside and help members continue their journeys safely with confident, prompt service.

Starting on a driveway with 40-hour weeks and optional overtime, you’ll engage in a structured development programme and pursue IMI accreditation to advance your repair and diagnostic capabilities and career growth within the Patrol

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs.
• Provide vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and resolve issues for members.
