RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, deliver quick, confident solutions and help members continue their journeys safely.

The role offers a structured development pathway, hands-on training, IMI accreditation and opportunities to grow within the Patrol division. If you seek variety, autonomy and a career beyond the workshop, this is for you.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to get members back on the road.
