Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division, delivering roadside diagnostics, repairs and emergency support across the UK. You’ll work from home-based start/end points, with a van, fuel card, and full uniform provided.

Ideal candidates have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside diagnostics and repairs with rapid turnaround
• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members
