Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support across the country, using your Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent and 2+ years of hands-on experience.

You’ll start and finish at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, diagnostic kit, and uniform provided. Expect a market-competitive base salary (£36,400) and a realistic OTE around £60,000, with overtime options and a voice in our

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
