Job summary
The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You’ll use your Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and two years’ post-qualification experience to diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs, battery, tyre, and related emergency support for our members.
You’ll start and finish at your home, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit provided.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
- Handle fault diagnostics, tyre changes, battery issues and related roadside tasks.
- Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
