Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members across the UK with a focus on quick, confident service.

You will start and end your day from home, using your RAC van and provided tools. The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience or 5+ years as a technician, plus a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish on your driveway.
• Shifts averaging 40 hours per week with optional overtime.
