Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnose faults, and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.

The role starts and ends at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit supplied. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll handle diverse calls—from flat batteries to tyre changes—while delivering outstanding member service and

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
