Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and end your day at home, serving members in your local area with confidence and care.

You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and a diagnostic kit to support rapid fault finding and repairs. No CV is required to apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support UK-wide.
• Start and end your day at home while visiting members.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need help.
