Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in Scarborough. You’ll use a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience to deliver diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency support across the UK.

You’ll start and finish at home, work local call-outs, and manage a 40-hour week with optional overtime. You’ll receive a market-competitive base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000 and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day from home and manage local call-outs.
