Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the UK. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, you’ll diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to get members back on the road quickly.

You’ll start and finish from home each day, with shifts averaging 40 hours and optional overtime. The package includes a base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000, along with a range of benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
