Job summary

You’ll join RAC as a Roadside Technician, performing mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, working on demand with your RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided.

With a Level 2 qualification and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll earn a market-competitive salary and a realistic OTE, plus generous benefits designed to support you on and off the road.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and tackle challenges head-on on the roadside.
