Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll be based at home, receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and a diagnostic kit to perform roadside repairs across the UK. Expect a base salary of £36,400 with an OTE around £60,000, and overtime potential for top performers.

Requires Level 2 LV Maintenance, 2+ years’ roadside experience, and a full UK driving licence with <6 points. This is a fast-paced role with varied calls and strong member service expectations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance required with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Utilise diagnostic kit to identify faults and repair vehicles on site.
