Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician who will diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside, delivering quick and confident solutions while maintaining high member service. The role is based from home with local area coverage.

The ideal candidate has an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent), 2+ years’ experience, and a full UK driving licence with under 6 penalty points. RAC provides tools and support from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
• 5+ years’ experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Complete calls with quick, confident solutions and high member service.
