Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Warrington area. You’ll perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics, responding to breakdowns across the UK, while starting and finishing at your home drive.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll join a team that values customer service and technical excellence, supported by a RAC van, fuel card, and tools from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home with a RAC van and diagnostic kit.
