Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician in the Warrington cluster. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2 years’ experience, you’ll diagnose faults and perform emergency roadside repairs to get members back on the road.

You’ll start and finish at home, with around 40 hours a week and optional overtime. You’ll be equipped with your RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit to support a fast, trusted service across your local area.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or Roadside Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle faults, tyre changes, and batteries with quick, confident solutions.
